Mistin grew up travelling the world with her family. Born in New River, a desert town in Arizona, Mistin began travelling at the age of three. Since then she has travelled and lived in many countries around the world to include Mexico, Thailand, Japan, Greece, the USA and Oman.

Living in these countries has allowed Mistin to experience many diverse cultures and travel the world playing country music. Eleven years ago, a brush with destiny brought Mistin to Australia and she proudly calls this beautiful country home.

At the age of 17 Mistin recorded her first EP in Bangkok, Thailand. Her singles Out Of My Dreams and Legend received national radio airplay. More recently Mistin recorded the duet Only Burning Me with Dale Juner, featured on his latest album Livin' While I Learn, and has enjoyed success nationally.

"The highlight of the album has to be track three, Only Burning Me. … a duet with Mistin, takes the song to a new height. ….With her assurances that the past is the past and that she is only true to her present lover, Mistin brings a sensitivity which belies the fact that this is her first recorded duet with an established performer. A truly traditional country song with today's modern touch and a beautiful blending of harmonies." – Mike Crozier, Wagon Wheel

Mistin is a graduate of the Country Music Association of Australia's, 2006 Australian College of Country Music. The tremendous opportunity provided by the College has allowed Mistin to expand on business development, song writing, and instrumental skills.

Not shy to commitment and hard work, Mistin can be seen performing at rodeos, festivals, pubs, clubs, corporate events, hotels etc, on a monthly basis.

Currently working out of Canberra, Mistin is dedicated to the development and exploitation of country music in Australia and travels regularly throughout the country. Mistin is a committee member of the Canberra Country Music Association. Her insight and experience in the industry facilitates a positive impact that allows her to proactively participate in the country music community.

Mistin was recently a featured artist in David Schmidt's internationally distributed 'New Music Weekly Magazine'. Schmidt states that "Mistin offers a 'sweet' country ballad style and besides singing, she writes her own music. Mistin has a lot of talent; I think you will agree."

August 2006 has seen Mistin release a new single to radio Head Over Heels on the ACMEC Records Winter Sampler. Mistin was also named a Top 5 Finalist in the Australian Songwriters Association, Australiana Songwriter Of The Year, for her song Down The Road, co-written with Jessie Che.
